Re: FSOL interview in Global Techno (1999)

I said it, there is nothing official.
I thought it was important to share this information with you, anyway.

I did not want to open a new topic for this, because it's just a quote.
Is this a good choice ?

FSOL project on R&S?

I got this information from the Renaat Vandepapeliere's Facebook profile, the boss of R&S Records. Quote: "New FSOL to come on R&S or Apollo ( who knows ????? )" There is nothing official, but it's worth talking about here I think. Some pictures with Gaz, Sabine & Renaat Vandep...

Re: Run Wrake (1965-2012)

I've always loved the video for We Have Explosive, it works perfectly with the track. I did not know who was Run Wrake until today, I discover and I love his work. Thanks NMesh.

Re: FSOL interview in Global Techno (1999)

I have not bought the french fsoldigital lives, but given the length of this live, I don't think it's the same, it is perhaps a titration error. For my part, I recorded the live on a tape at the time, the quality is as bad as on Youtube, and I'm pretty sure this is the correct date, I don't remember...

Re: FSOL interview in Global Techno

I have a French live from 97 (I do not think it is on fsoldigital) recorded on tape absolutely wonderful. Someone uploded it on Youtube, I'd love to buy a good quality version of this live. (The content is posterior to Dead Cities, with among other things, Popadom, Private Psyche And Inner Life, Tr...

Re: FSOL interview in Global Techno (1999)

Pandemonium: Ok ! Argh, sorry Tito, I do not know if it was a person or, I don't know, a former forum maybe... Yes, there are several mistakes in the introduction, it's unfortunate. Global Techno is a big book, the authors have been around the world and met some of the most important personalities o...

Re: FSOL interview in Global Techno (1999)

Ok, thanks Tito ! Here's the interview: FSOL, it's the digital group "par excellence", working almost exclusively with a battery of samplers, recluse in their Earthbeat studio, located in the desolate suburbs of North London. From his laboratory, the duo made a significant number of perfor...

FSOL interview in Global Techno (1999)

Hi, FSOL fans. I read this forum regularly for two years, But I had no profile. Today it's done. I was wondering if anyone knew the french book "Global Techno", published in 1999 and written by Jean-Yves Leloup, Jean-Philippe Renoult and Pierre-Emmanuel Rastoin. Four pages are devoted to T...
