Re: New FSOL album on Touched 11CD boxset

I have the feeling it might be something like that, yeah.

Looks like the date is going to be 13th December.

Deposits being taken for second run of SX-1s.

I'll chase up info from Brian about the HALia.

Re: The Amorphous Androgynous - Listening Beyond the Head Chakra

So it turns out an alternative version of 'Mantra (Crossing Over)' was released as a Weller track a few years ago:

Re: The Amorphous Androgynous - Listening Beyond the Head Chakra

Fuck, I forgot about that. Coupled with whatever next year's RSD release is (not to mention the 2020 Calendar Album and Ramblings Vol. 4)... it's going to be another busy twelve months!

Re: The Amorphous Androgynous - Listening Beyond The Head Chakra

Not massively taken with the title, it has to be said. Needs to be longer and more ridiculous.

Really hoping we get Environment Seven next month, because otherwise it's going to have to slot in between at least two Amorphous albums next year, which just feels unlikely.

Re: Environments 6

The main sequence in 'Tunnel North 5' turns out to be, unsurprisingly, the same as the one in 'Tunnel Sequence' on The Cartel Vol. 2 , just slowed down. I really should write that 'sounds, samples and themes shared between tracks' article. It's just the amount of repeated sounds in recent tracks mak...

Re: New AA album - Facebook updates

Seems like Rob has got his AA calendar first, but I'm nicking this info from him. Speculation based on the artwork... Title: Listening Beyond the Head Chakra (possibly... Gaz did suggest that my guess of Machines, Mantras, & Songs of Cosmic Insignificance was close, so maybe not...) Tracklist: She L...

Hearing FSOL in the wild

Every now and then we get a short-lived thread about FSOL being including in some mix or other, thought it would be sensible to throw them all together into one thread. Most recently, Autechre did a 13 hour DJ mix through their Mixlr page. Tracklist is very very much incomplete , but already include...

Re: FSOLDigital Calendar

It was agreed a track should be made from the contents of the garden shed. Bikes, watering cans, shovels, wooden garden chairs, were all used. Please enjoy THE SHED by FSOL, this months calendar track.
Can always rely on FSOL to do something bloody odd. Really great track, too.

Re: Enofa - Melkur out now!

Been a very quiet year for me musically, although there's an album due in the first half of 2020 entitled Paxanimi . Meanwhile, here are the first two 'journeys' in my Ambient Excursions series of mixes, in which I focus (largely) on lesser known '90s ambient / ambient techno / ambient dub / downtem...

Re: New AA album - Facebook updates

Three tracks from the 2017 calendar album ended up on From the Archives 9, it's possible others may end up on future archives and alias releases. The albums themselves aren't available outside of FSOLDigital, although the FSOL ones can be purchased as music-only options. The Amorphous tracks, howeve...
