Re: Enofa - Melkur out now!

Quick news update about this year's two albums - Paxanimi will be out on Doom Chakra Tapes in April. Nerra Ninna Noak will be out around a similar time on Time Released Sound. The former is a sample-heavy, FSOL/Orb-esque ambient/downtempo album; the latter is more similar to Arboretum in its use of ...

Haha. I've never properly got into them, much as I enjoy the stuff I have heard, so that might explain missing it...

Re: Seafar - Totem

Seafar is a guy called Steven Harran, grew up in Glasgow and was a friend-of-a-friend of Brian's. Now lives in Australia. Haven't heard the album yet but I'll have a listen out for those samples once I do. He's sampled FSOL on earlier releases. He is/was a regular on the Twoism boards so wouldn't be...

Re: FSOLDigital Calendar

2019's album is definitely my favourite of the three, by some stretch. With the exception of the Smart Systems track, which is obviously very much of its time, I'd say the rest feels like a consistent album in its own right. The overall sound is a nice mix of the E6-esque electronica with a few more...

Re: FSOL article on Rockerilla mag.

Fascinating - you can really hear the initial traces of Amorphous already by this point, the talk of disliking the 'future' aspect of FSOL, changing names, forming a band, inspiration from the past, etc.

Re: The Amorphous Androgynous - Listening Beyond the Head Chakra

Bit of natter between Gaz and Weller, and the bottom half of the Immortal cover, which states: A Monstrous Psychedelic Bubble (Exploding in Your Mind) presents: We Persuade Ourselves We Are Immortal Remixes featuring: Stoned Freshwaters - Peter Hammill - The Amorphous Androgynous - Paul Weller - Ato...

Re: 2 new Russian unofficial 2019 pressings.

I'd love to know who at Star Line is choosing what to release because they don't half have an odd range of titles. They all look pretty nicely done though, it has to be said. Far better than the usual Russian pirate releases. That WHE wooden box looks lovely. Seems like a lot of effort to go to for ...

Re: New FSOL album on Touched 11CD boxset

Thanks guys, I'm glad people are enjoying the track. The other material we've been working on is quite different, but all very varied, in typical FSOL (and me) style.

Re: New FSOL album on Touched 11CD boxset

Here's the link to the album.
Remember there's no FSOL in the digital version (looking to FSOLDigital for a likely release of that).

edit: and it's sold out!

Here's mine and Brian's track, the debut song from Apertures.
