Re: The Amorphous Androgynous - Listening Beyond the Head Chakra

I mentioned it in the Compilation & 12" tracks thread. I'll probably track down a copy for my Amorphous Rarities playlist at some point, but I'm not gagging for yet another version of the track.

Re: Fractional Difference - Exploring FSOL song-by-song

There are quite a few releases like these that, possibly because they were one-offs and never appeared on the likes of Earthbeat, tend to be largely forgotten. Re: Fractional Difference - Exploring FSOL song-by-song

https://fractionaldifference.files.wordpress.com/2021/04/ast.jpg Art Science Technology - A.S.T. - A.S.T. - Esus Flow - Esus Flow (Vast Galaxy Remix) My main takeaway from re-listening to this today was that, despite the A-side sounding a world away from FSOL, almost all the hallmarks of a FSOL rel...

Ah yes, Global. I spent most of these posts wistfully considering what this album could have been like if Brian, John and Gaz had been left to their own devices.

Gaz interview on Van der Graaf Generator website

A nice interview with Jim Christopulos, which focuses a lot on Amorphous's work with VdGG member Peter Hammill on the Immortal single, but also touches quite heavily on the history of FSOL, the group's work on the Noel Gallagher album and how heavily it affected Gaz's confidence - which in turn led ...

Recordstore.co.uk are apparently offering a version with a limited edition lithograph print. No idea what this is a print of, but here's the link for those who are interested.

Re: Fractional Difference - Exploring FSOL song-by-song

That edit was used as a theme tune to some youth programme on the BBC - it was licensed to the compilation without permission, which is probably why it ended up under a different alias.
