It varies. They usually announce it before the end of Jan.

Ah, that is a good question. I really don't have an idea if they would or not. Maybe some of the newer tracks? I know some of the tracks in past calendar albums were recorded years ago and were left off of releases so probably not those.

I'm honestly OK if the calendar albums just become oddities and orphan compilations every year. I'm glad that we get to hear these experiments and tracks that wouldn't find a home otherwise. Oh wow, 2001! Yes, this is a full on Isness era FSOL track. I agree, I could see some of the Isness tracks just being FSOL if they were released today.

Had my first full listen. I agree that it has a very Dead Cities sound and flow to it. I'll be interested to see if that carries through to the other E8 releases.
