I think the standard for mp3s is 320k. Could also do a FLAC version as well but again I'm not connected to any Beatport-ted netlabels.. If you release it through Bandcamp you can just upload the flac or wavs and it'll transcode it to all other formats, thus the customer can decide what format they ...

I remember when I found a download of Orbus Terrarum back in 2001 it was is an almighty 24kbps Real Audio format - ooh boy I was clearly going for high fidelity back then !

As I say, don't worry it'll be a while before HTML v5 becomes the de-facto web standard. And when I say 'a while', it's estimated to be the standard around the year 2022 !
