Re: Sky Scraper

It's only ever turned up on that 12" - quite a strange track really, doesn't sound all that much like the other stuff from 1993.

Re: New to the community (with a track to share)

Hello hello, welcome! Nice track, definitely a distinct FSOL influence, more stripped back but it works nicely. Be interested to hear your further developments. Definitely with you on the dark/light - I went down a very dark path for a while, but these days it just doesn't work for me, I'm writing t...

Re: FSOL & Robert Fripp

Essential Mix '94 on Radio 1. Unreleased currently, although there are tons of bootleg versions around. Pandemonium has written about the different versions here.

Hoping that when (if??) The Pod Room gets updated, it'll be on there.

Next website update later in the year will be a redesign that should hopefully see it become more interactive.

Re: Pande-reviews: 1994.2 (Lifeforms Paths, CompTrack, Expan

Going to have to listen to Subconscious and Subliminal again, never noticed those links before. I always think of the track as Subliminal Aura.

You know, looking at the cover of Expander, the link to Hamish McDonald seems less strange. They do look a bit like a late 80s goth band.

Re: Pande-reviews: 1994.1 (Lifeforms)

There's the odd sentence which comes across slightly awkward, but 99% of the time you really can't tell it's not your native tongue. I know a lot of English people whose English is worse than yours.

Re: Pande-reviews: 1994.1 (Lifeforms)

The Schulze credit is just for the sample in the opening. Shauneen came from a modelling agency. I wonder if she found all the photoshoots with the band strange. Lifeforms is my favourite piece of art in any form ever. Maybe one day I will be able to put that in more detail, but for the moment... Yes.
