Re: Terminal Window 2

Just like to say that Clockwork Keyboard will be contributing to this as well, as a trio band this time, joining us is Sven Meyer.

Would this be two tracks each again, or just a track each this time?

Re: Loose Link Thread - Next Release: "Karramantha"

I think a few of the tracks will still use samples, one track I've done is basically a sample-fest, though it was going to be a VJamm for youtube, but I scrapped it and turned it into a song. I'm still thinking of this as being a free release again at the moment. I think the main goal with this one ...

Re: KISS 100 Transmission 4 Track / 2nd Echoes Interview

Mark Pritchard and Tom Middleton did some AWESOME music back in the day, I just found out that their track "Links" as Chameleon was also featured in one of the Kiss Transmissions as well: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i7dPiBWIJVA" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; Su...

Re: Gear talk...

I'm abit more built up technically as a illustrator than a musician, hoping to get a Wacom Cintiq soon (OMG-OMG-OMG etc) Basically just Fruity Loops, TONS of VSTs, external keyboard, Acid 8. Back around the time of Random I was thinking of grabbing a external Midi Controller, but never got around to...

Terminal Window 2

I've just read up that it's been close to a year since we last started Terminal, what do you guys reckon about doing a second? Since Jerky Oats is nearly gone (Ross?) there's plenty of opportunity with other netlabels, maybe even FSOLDigital?

Anybody up for it?

Re: Loose Link Thread - Next Release: "Karramantha"

Thanks guys for your comments. Karra did seem abit long in the tooth, but I knew that with the variety in the mixes it can carry itself through the 90 minutes. One of the main things I told people was to really cut the samples up and add your own sounds, most did that, thanks to all the remixers who...

Re: FSOL @ 20 - Lifeforms

I first discovered FSOL during the mp3 era (2001 - 2002) by this time my first "album" was actually collected songs from each album (including the spanking new Isness at the time), my first proper album was Dead Cities, but the next one was Lifeforms. Then I discovered the two EPs, then th...

Re: Loose Link Thread - Next Release: "Karramantha"

Just like to say that the Karramantha album is finally out on Sirona Records! Over 90 minutes with 14 remixes and a 10 page "booklet" this one's a biggie, hope you all enjoy :) http://ia600709.us.archive.org/6/items/siro237LooseLinkAndOptionCommandFriends-Karramantha/karra1.jpg Tracklist: ...

Re: Electric Brainstorm 7

Heaps of releases coming our way by the looks of it, very exciting! Excellent mix also, I'll admit it took me by surprise to learn that most of it was actually FSOL themselves, there's a much larger percentage of it here than on the previous six. I seem to think "Park" is the guy that says...

Re: Loose Link Thread - Next Release: "Karramantha"

Thanks Ross :) Another Stopscape coming soon. For now: I've started a new mix series called "Loose Link Compacts", each mix will be dedicated to one prolific artist as I grab an hour out of their hundreds and hundreds of output and mix it all together, first, its Tangerine Dream: http://th...
