Re: new boards of canada lp
That puzzle solved by fans that lead up to the announcement of the new album went completely passed me ^^ Right now I'm listening to the entire album for the second time. I think it's great, fresh new stuff but typical BOC style. It's probably their most accessible album for the mainstream electroni...

Re: What are you listening to?
Have to admit, Get Lucky is basically the only song I've enjoyed from DP so far.. vocoders and electro.. just not my thing. I just don't get they hype, same thing with Boards Of Canada. Blasting out the new Filter album now, pretty overproduced and poppy.. it's like none of the songs stand out. Als...
Re: PANDE
I must say I've gained weight because I had grown a third egg, fat lump near the scrotum, and I'm going to be operated soon Ouch, that sucks man, I hope everything turns out all right! My only real vice is Coca Cola - but it's a strong one :) There was a period of two years of my life (when I was a...
Re: PANDE
Panda's are cute! If we're all gonna post our body types... I might as well: I'm 1,70 m and 59 kg (that's about 5'8" and 130 lbs for you metric haters). I used to be really fat in my college days, though. Too much beer and deep fried fast "food". When I started eating properly the fat...

That's some weird stuff, the new Autechre... :s Never really understood much of their "music" that came out after the quite brilliant Amber.

Re: Limited prints on FSOLdigital
Of the three prints that are available now, I like the Environments one the most. But I don't like that font for the letters, looks really silly with the inverted "N", and the "O" that somewhat resembles the capital phi in the Greek alphabet. I'm much more of a t-shirt guy anyway...

World of Warcraft, of course. And occasionally Quake 3 and Counter-Strike.
I gotta check out that remake of Half-Life!

Re: BPM interview 1993
Nice post, thanks!
But very strange indeed, like the kilt-wearing dude in the beginning said.
I think the only monologue that can be taken even remotely seriously is the last one... And what's he talking about, wasn't PNG played a lot in clubs back in the early nineties?

Re: Free Orb/Lee Perry mix
I listened to the new album a few times on Spotify. It's decent, but I'm not sure if I will buy the real thing, probably not now that I think about it. But I am very much looking forward to finally seeing them live for the first time, in November!!!

I've been wondering about this as well, anyone have any idea?Ross wrote:Listening to the Beatport samples, I'm going to guess this basically resolves the issue of the first three archives not seguing the tracks together. Why now, though?

Re: FSOL PC collection, finally
Vinyl + headphones is the way I prefer to hear my music, for serious listening sessions. I used to have an iPod, then it broke and I went back to my discman. Which is more convenient as it means I no longer have to rip CDs to my computer. Do you use a discman when you listen to FSOL? Not saying ther...
