Re: First Death in the Family (Dead Cities Reprise bit)
Yes, I think it was Simon's first solo track, which is why it's basically a punk track. I would imagine some of the samples are FSOL.

I really, really, really, really, really hate the Andy Weatherall mix.
Hamish McDonald was in 80s goth band Sexbeat and a DJ at London goth club The Batcave around the time. And various other things. He has a Soundcloud... http://soundcloud.com/h808

UK meet
As has been briefly discussed in the past, Craig of Loose Link fame is in the UK now and we were talking about having a meetup of board members. I'm just south of London, and Craig and Pete are in London itself, whilst Akkya is in Brighton - would London be a sensible place to suggest for the meetup...

Fuzzy Logic is one of my favourites of the early releases. Coda Coma in particular.

Today I have been on an 80s TD kick... Poland, Tangram, Exit, Hyperborea. Lovely.

Re: What are you listening to?
Tangerine Dream-esque Berlin School electronica often conjours up images of space and mystical stuff, so I find the contrast between the music and visuals here hilarious: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OzrEyyG1TGg Nice enough piece though, Create is one of the better artists in the modern BS scene (...

Re: Sturmazdale thread
Here is a track from Document #2. This is probably the most experimental piece from the record. http://soundcloud.com/sturmazdale/basidiolichens-which-form And here is the tracklist: 01 - from those of either the fungus or 02 - association is a close symbiosis. It 03 - species of photosynthetic part...

FSOL/Will White
I recently heard from somebody claiming to know about a forthcoming release by FSOL & Will White (ex-Propellerheads, collaborator on The Woodlands of Old and Environments 4), which has been described as containing funky sounding house and breaks tracks - 'not very FSOL'. Probably coming on FSOLD...

Re: Terminal Radio
I think the tracklist may be wrong as the Merganser mix doesn't follow the Malty Media one, I think cubus comes between. Otherwise another fantastic mix, possibly the best yet.
