Re: FSOLDigital Calendar

There's been a definite shift in sound towards a danceable IDMish feel recently, hasn't there? It's hard to tell FSOL and Humanoid tracks apart a lot of the time at the minute.

Dead Cities 2LP reissue

A copy has turned up in Tel Aviv. There’s been no official announcement but it seems that it’s snuck out early a few months ahead of release. Identical to the original, other than catalogue number and label credits on the back.

Re: enrico berio mixes amorphous andogynous

I think if I stopped listening to artists because of their political and personal views on life, there wouldn't be many I'd have left to listen to. I've seen a few people say this over the years, and it's always seemed odd to me... maybe I just have an ear for nice people. The only questionab...

Re: FSOL - Music for Three Books / Music from Calendars

Ok, a quick peek shows that the timings on the book tracks are very slightly different, largely I believe due to inevitable differences in indexing, although 'Episode' is nine seconds shorter, suggesting it may crossfade into 'Magnify Within the Thought'. 'Control Vista' from the 2018 Calendar Album...

Re: enrico berio mixes amorphous andogynous

Yes, I have to say I'm a bit confused too. The web link suggests spambot... In terms of the issue at hand here, I can't say too much about the inner workings of the band for obvious reasons, but since they've no longer had a single studio to work from they've operated differently. It's clear from Fa...

FSOLDigital is currently charging shipping for the album - I've informed Brian and I'm sure the issue will be resolved tomorrow!

Re: Enofa - Paxanimi out now!

There should be a third album recorded alongside of these out at the end of the year. An informal trilogy of sorts.

Re: Enofa - Paxanimi out now!

If anyone's still listening, you'll be happy to know there are two albums on their way. All Roads Lead to Polesworth , a 60 minute kaleidoscopic smorgasbord of sounds, from acid to lo-fi acoustic ambient to jungle to epic sample collages, is out in March on Third Kind. Ancient Brickwork / Botanical ...

Re: Compilation tracks & Remixography

Yes, that's confused me before. It's probably the album version (that's 5.15 on the promo CD). That makes the 'Full' version the mystery, which might be the same radio edit from Teachings from the Electronic Brain (which runs to 4.36) with a few more seconds on the end or something.
