I don't know how much they've moved away from the standard album thing (as you called it, and it's a perfect description), because in any case each of these records (archives, enviroments), are album-length, include (almost) only new tracks, at least tracks that have not been issued on any official ...

Ok Ross, so we agree on this: FSOL make some kind of separation between "official albums" and "all the rest". For example, the Artwork EP, the bonus tracks etc. then ended up onto "official" albums (Life In Moments), for example. Anyway, on discogs Papua New Guinea Tran...

About calendar albums, those track haven't been reissued somewhere else, have they?
I think I'll buy them (the three reworkings and the calendars...maybe Translations, I don't know).

I am against EPs for two reasons: first, they are too short (I tend to listen only to album-lenght records); second, some EP tracks then end up in albums, and I don't want "doubles". For longform singles, I don't like to listen to the same track over and over, albeit in different guises an...

Ok, so on the disc it's written "From the archives vol. 9", but the album has been promoted as Archived 9. Same as 8? How should I tag it?
