The Glimmer Room - The Wind Blows Summer from the Trees
Re: PANDE
In my head, Pande is pronounced 'pained', which always makes these things seem odd.

Re: What are you listening to?
Thing is, The Soft.Bulletin, Yoshimi and At War With the Mystics seem really odd in context of their discography. Three polished poppy albums in the middle of a huge load of whacked out fuzzy psychedelia. My favourite is Transmissions from the Satellite Heart. Although to be honest I haven't listene...

Re: What are you listening to?
Listened to the first disc on headphones, very impressed, strikes me as more like Untilted than Draft, but unlike Untilted (my least favourite Ae record) there's lots of lovely melodic stuff in there. Seems like they took that element of Oversteps and applied it to the rhythmic sounds of the previou...

Re: What are you listening to?
She finds everything after Incunabula too cold and inhuman. Trouble is finding a two hour spot to give this a listen!

Re: Terminal Window 3
Well, since themes don't seem to be forthcoming, here's a list of potential ideas:
Cityscape
Tropical
Icy/arctic
Space
Pastoral/rural
Vast/desert
Any other ideas? I'm sure we can come up with a cohesive soundscape for most it not all of these.

Re: FSOL project on R&S?
It is down for R&S or Apollo, I'm pretty sure Apollo is the more ambient sub label?

Ah, Wonderful Life is an incredible song.
Waiting for my Exai to come in the post, I have the digital version from the Bleep purchase but always prefer to sit down with the physical version on first listen.

I'm happy to provide occasional moments of light (a la 'Max'). Can't bring myself to do much dark stuff these days!

Re: What are you listening to?
His stuff has changed a lot over the years, there's a definite bluesy, gospelly vibe to his more recent material.

Re: Terminal Radio
Ah, that's interesting. I suppose it was only a matter of time. Well, as said, it's probably not such a bother for us, most of our material is far enough below the radar to keep us from bother (other than my inclusion of Simple Minds, perhaps).

Terminal Window 3
Ok, as the acid trip idea seems to have been the most popular, let's go with that. It moves away from the original concept a bit, but no problems there. Soooooo yeah, something pretty psychedelic/trippy, starting off mellow and going into craziness, perhaps a bit of a loss of control (I have the per...
