Re: Record Store Day 2024 - ISDN and From the Archives

Brian mentioned it as a possible RSD release a couple of years ago, so it's not been forgotten. Hopefully soon!

Record Store Day 2024 - ISDN and From the Archives

Re: FSOLDigital Calendar

They haven’t done physical calendars since 2020. And yeah, everything seems to be through Bandcamp these days, for better or worse.

Re: FSOLDigital Calendar

Yeah, the tracks are sometimes labelled kind of scrappily on Bandcamp is all.

Re: Pulse Five out January 26th on Detuned

If I had to guess, I'd say a mix of J&P tracks, Pulse Five material and some other archive bits from the same era.

Re: What is this?

It wasn’t discussed publicly, that blank index page was added very quickly after and has remained since. I’d imagine the tracks went offline at the same time!

The original version of FSOLDigital was hosted on yage.co.uk, probably also where WIPs were stored.

Re: What is this?

In 2009, a bunch of tracks accidentally leaked through yage.co.uk - the index.htm was temporarily missing - and then a few years later the whole lot briefly appeared on a torrent site. Weirdly, 'Viewed from the Left' disappeared in the interim.

Re: Mental Cube - So This is Love 12" reissue

Santa Monica Mix has some nice bleepy synths that give the track an airier vibe, really nice. The Pacific Beach Mix is louder and punchier, with a pizz string melody leading things.
Nice to hear some alternate takes on the track and how it could have sounded if they'd chosen another mix.

Re: FSOLDigital Calendar

Oh awesome, this is from one of the Touched nights, Brian said it was an E7.003 track at the time so from those sessions. Love this one.
