just discovered for the first time Cabaret Voltaire's 'the conversation' really reminds of fsol in their use of sampling,rhythms and sounds...1st cd full of beats takes you on a journey and the 2nd more an ambient meandering composition..all in a ll a great discovery.

new album from laura veirs - warp and weft been a fan for years finally get to see her live in november in manchester irresitible force - flying high classic ambient house new goldfrapp album - change in direction to more acoustic sounds but still a great voice asc - programme 01 ep - very 90's bola...

bought Sand Sound Folly,Blackhill Transmitter and Suburban Domestic...glad everyone else likes them as much as i do...shame about the tshirts not covering all bases..would be great to see xl or god forbid xxl catered for but i suppose any fsol tshirts are better than none lol.

pre-ordered the album and it arrived this saturday 2 days before the release so was happy with that..Album is great..very coherent has some elements of older boc styles but definitely a new direction..very soundtracky and dark and foreboding with glimmers of light poking through..loads more synths o...

i like boards for many different reasons but i suppose the main reason is the feeling of nostalgia they convey...there's a happy side to them but also a darker undertone running through their tracks.I have to agree that the shorter tracks tend to have the better ideas(just wish they were longer!)one...

So they have finally announced a new album after 8 years..Tomorrow's harvest is out on 10th june 2013...17 tracks...after fsol boards are my 2nd favourite band and the news of a new album has made me very happy especially after thinking they would never release anything again...just wondered how oth...

tryptych that is the very same question I'd like answering...even if they just did one more new official fsol album I'd be happy..yes the archives and environment series are great and we've had plenty of them !!now it's time for some new original fsol material.double album too please gaz and Brian!

have to say that 'A Gigantic Globular Burst Of Antistatic' was really disappointing,had high expectations for it and came away feeling severely underwhelmed,think it was just too ambient from them.
