Re: Synthi-A - Ignition of the Sun - out 4th March
Your guess is as good as anyone's with the credits. Seems to just be whatever takes their fancy at the time. Synthi A definitely has Gaz's involvement, although on what level is not known - it's likely that Brian's the leading force in the record, at least. Blackhill I believe is a Brian solo proje...

Re: Synthi-A - Ignition of the Sun - out 4th March
Just a question: the Sinthi-A album is "engineered and produced by Yage", but there is no "written and recorded by...", why? And about Blackhill Transmitter, it's producet by Yage but written and recorded by Blackhill Transmitter. Is it also (as Always) Brian & Gaz? (I don't ...

So, is this a new full album? (as some of you may know, I only buy full albums, so...)

Re: FSOL Cover Cameo in Wipoeout 2097
I didn't, but I played Wipeout 2097 only between 1998 and 1999 because in 1999 I updated my PC and it became impossible to play that game. Among all the games I've played in my life (lots and lots) Wipeout is the one that went "out-of-date" fastest, and has since then been impossible to pl...

Re: Mushroom 11 Soundtrack by FSOL
Sadly, the studio that made all the Wipeout series has been shut down by Sony (their owner), so there won't be any future wipeout. Many of the Wipeout devs started a new company and are making a successor to Wipeout right now... Formula Fusion. Not sure they'll be getting big name artists for the S...

Re: Mushroom 11 Soundtrack by FSOL
They should do another Wipeout for mobiles with FSOL (and other cool shit) as the soundtrack. :) BTW, Welcome to the board gabo86! Sadly, the studio that made all the Wipeout series has been shut down by Sony (their owner), so there won't be any future wipeout. Thank you! I'm here since last year, ...

Re: Blu Mar Ten Music Podcast - Episode 30
:D :D :D You are one crazy dude - never thought I'd hear in my lifetime a Turkish Chalgia Chochek music between two Head of Agreement tracks :) - Nice use of the 3 (almost) forgotten albums of the guys (Heads / Polemical / Part-sub-merged). of the guyS or...of the guy? aren't they credited to Brian...

Re: Blackhill Transmitter Four
Interestingly what do people call these EPs? I notice the new one is Four. Others were EP, 2nd and 3 ...typical FSOL! I had called them EP1, EP2 and EP3...but feel I ought to adopt the official nomenclature. But that's a fight between purism and OCD!!! It's Always the same old story, with this figh...

Re: Mushroom 11 Soundtrack by FSOL
I found FSOL originally via Wipeout 2097, something like 16 years ago, when I was just a little kid. Who knows if I would have ever found them later if it wasn't for that game. Same for me. I'm sure that if my path hadn't crossed Wipeout, I'd never met them. I had Wipeout 2097 but for PC, so no FSO...

Re: AA track on new Paul Weller EP
Haven't given it a go yet mind, or indeed any of the more recent Weller and Noelly collaborations. It rankles with me the way they were treated. One day I'll give them a crack. Have they been treated bad also by Weller? I knew about Gallagher (whose record, partly AA-ish, I love despite the polemic...

Re: wee Noel in the NME
Another question: Gaz is credited as "backing vocals" for The Mexican. So the "high pitched voice" dubbing Noel's one throughout the song is Gaz's?

Re: The Most Important Moments in a Life - A History of FSOL
:) I will, someday... - But if you followed the reviews up until the end of 2008, you shouldn't need more guidance - go on your own :) - I'm glad people find that thread useful, but I make it just because I like to deconstruct things down to their building blocks (I'm an engineer, so it's kinda my ...
