EBS/MPB/Kiss/Radio 1 Mixes

I've had a bit of an update regarding the radio mixes and podcasts previously available in The Pod Room. It doesn't look like they'll be returning any time soon, apparently the licensing costs are so prohibitingly expensive to keep them online. As soon as anything changes they'll be back for sale th...

Re: Environments 4

Dear FSOL,
Please release this tomorrow, after that I won't have internet access other than occasional trips to the library for the foreseeable future thus downloading the album will be difficult. (Also I really want to hear it).

Re: Small makeover to fsoldigital

The fact that they're doing a million and one other things - the Noel Gallagher album, Prime World soundtrack, who knows what else (maybe that 5.1 album will turn up at some point) - means they probably haven't had chance to push too much forward. 2" Tape Reels has been coming soon for about th...

Re: Small makeover to fsoldigital

If a Prime World soundtrack is coming then it shall be added to the list - no news yet. I have WSH filed under Pod Room. DVD - I'd imagine there are definitely legal issues here regarding the fact they don't own the rights to the 90s catalogue, which is why the ISDN shows appeared in the Pod Room a ...

Re: Small makeover to fsoldigital

For the record, I was told 'coming soon' in February. :D And the new background is from the Archive 6 artwork, back of the booklet if I'm not mistaken (I might be, mine is about 250 miles away at the moment).

Re: Small makeover to fsoldigital

I kept looking at it for the last few days thinking 'something's changed...', but couldn't remember what the background used to be like so didn't bother mentioning it. Go on, then, as we've not had the list of forthcoming FSOLDigital releases on this version of the board yet... Next FSOL album Poten...

Re: Environments 4

Oh yeah, Hollow Earth! That was pretty dramatic. It was on the credits for the Tiny Point of Light/Light Beyond Sound videos, along with A Glitch in Cellular Memory and another piece of unknown title. Which also reminds me - the new live track from Bloc.

Re: What are you listening to?

The collection I linked to contains my favourite music that he's composed, all minor key, very melancholic piano music (the concerto also features strings and a choir), some based on - I think - 13th century music.

Re: What are you listening to?

I think Deaf Center backed themselves into a corner with Pale Ravine because nothing since has been able to compare. The Nest album is fantastic, but a bit long and maybe a tad piano-heavy; Owl Splinters is a touch too heavy on the cello drones. A compromise between the two would be fantastic howeve...

Re: What are you listening to?

I'm not such a fan of Broderick's singer songwriter stuff, his voice annoys me a little, but the instrumental/modern classical approach he does better than most.

Re: What are you listening to?

Oh, Battersea Bunches is finally coming out eh? Lee Perry means we've got another Alex And Youth Pretend To Be Black album on its way again then.
