On the contrary, this decision seems to suggest that FSOLDigital will do a download release of it at some point, rather than Touched
Phew, I do hope that is indeed the case as I'm not sure I'll be able to afford this beast of a boxset encased in the big wooden box ! (guessing it won't be cheap)

On in ten minutes. At three hours, I reckon we'll get at least one FSOL track and possibly Apertures.

edit: Just shy of an hour is the Apertures track.
90 minutes in a track from the FSOL album... complete with 'FSOLDigital' watermarks, suggesting the CD will be more of a mix than an album. Weird beats, field recordings, flutes, odd sounds, this is a strange one.

Here's the link to the album.
Remember there's no FSOL in the digital version (looking to FSOLDigital for a likely release of that).

edit: and it's sold out!

Here's mine and Brian's track, the debut song from Apertures.

Ross and Brain's track is pretty special indeed!
I'm listening to the compilation now and can't wait to hear the FSOL album/mix in January!

The various artists compilation with the Apertures track on can be bought as a standalone.

The FSOL disc will appear on FSOLDigital in the future.
I really like Missing Skies because of the Views/Environmental vibe it has. Plus a great progression as it moves to the last quarter of the song, really adds depth. Good job!

Yesterday downloaded the 5.1 Giga FLAC version (minus the FSOL album of course) and started the proper listening with good headphones. Just started from the compilation, so with Apertures: listened to this track at least 10 times to this morning (with the Antonymes one too), perceiving it as a "nostalgic memory of an experience that can't be put into focus in the trice" ...kinda of poetry in different shades of blue watercolors. Of course, waiting for the maximum opening of the lens to the infinite, there are still unknown portions of the sky. Definitively love this new adventure and absolutely need a development.

Thanks guys, I'm glad people are enjoying the track. The other material we've been working on is quite different, but all very varied, in typical FSOL (and me) style.

1. FSOL - I Can't Find You
2. FSOL/Daniel Pemberton - Offers On the Table
3. FSOL - Closure
4. FSOL - You Will Forget About Me
5. FSOL - Organic Weapon
6. Yage - Subtle Cause
7. Yage - Across 82
8. Humanoid - Tiny Machine Birth
9. FSOL - Optical Overspill
10. FSOL - A Type Of Thought
11. Synthi A - Rivers Over Roads
12. Yage - Tower City North
13. FSOL - Slope/5/a
14. FSOL - Control Vista
15. Humanoid - Mass Made
16. FSOL - The Old Coastal Path

Either a collection of exclusive tracks or a sampler-style mix for future releases, time will tell. Boxes are delayed in manufacture as they're all being hand-made for free, but Martin hopes to have copies shipping this month. FSOLDigital download version still planned for later in the year.

It's really weird to see FSOL with a tDR design.
