Covert 3 on Touched

Post by Ross »

The third Covert album is coming out on Touched next month. Given that FSOL have provided tracks for the previous two volumes, it's quite likely there'll be one this time (especially as it's a double CD). The full album is getting a play on Friday evening...

Speaking of Mixlr, there may be an FSOL exclusive premiering through the site next month...

Which track do you think they might have done? Bandcamp

Some suspected Autechre and BOC on there for sure.

If I had to guess, under the assumption that one track is by FSOL, I'd say it is 'Into The Belly'.

The production on it is very similar to Environments 6/6.5

That's my guess too - Though to me it sounded earlier than E6, more an early From The Archives (which I know sounds oxymoronic as the FTA series is meant to be taken from various time periods!)

Those bass notes are very recent-era-FSOL sounding indeed.

I hear the FSOL euphoric sadness treatment - beautiful track!

I completely agree with that. The way it abruptly starts and those looping patterns sound very FSOL. The name of the track sounds most likely too.
