Hearing FSOL in the wild

Post by Ross » Wed Oct 30, 2019 7:21 pm

Every now and then we get a short-lived thread about FSOL being including in some mix or other, thought it would be sensible to throw them all together into one thread.

Most recently, Autechre did a 13 hour DJ mix through their Mixlr page. Tracklist is very very much incomplete, but already includes 'Dumb Child of Q', 'Chile of the Bass Generation', 'Auto Pimp', 'Zip Code', 'Owl', 'Shrink' and 'Calcium' - looks like they were rocking the Pulse EPs over at Ae HQ recently.

Sean from Autechre is doing daily 12 hour(ish) DJ sets on Mixlr, as usual a load of early Dougans / Cobain stuff is being played. Stakker Humanoid played this past Tuesday, E Prom Contact, Motion Static, Quazi and Positive Electron were all played on Weds... ton of these have no tracklists but I wouldn't be surprised if there was more.

Forgot how lovely that track is - I feel like the video needs to be timestretched to like 10% the speed (or recorded at some crazy framerate then slowed) for the movement to match the audio.
