Marvellous, haven't even re-listened to the Mixlr version because I wanted to save it for this release. Exciting.

Here's the tracklist from last year's broadcast - I'd imagine the Untitled tracks will have titles by now

Andy Cato - The Coastal Path (Yage Interpretation)
B12 - Orbita Tolv (Rebuilt By Humanoid)
Min-Y-Llan - Lot-e (Synthi A - Analogue Designs)
Min-Y-Llan - Cycling Sundays (Yage Rebuild)
FSOL - Rain Forest
Humanoid - Scary Worlds
Humanoid - Tiny Machine Birth
FSOL - Untitled 41
Karsten Pflum - Borg Acid (Humanoid Remix)
Carbinax - Idiome (Humanoid Rebuild 3)
Blu Mar Ten - Shifted Night (FSOL Remix 2nd)
FSOL - Was There Some of the Time
Nmesh - Mall Full of Drugs (Rebuilt by Humanoid)
FSOL - Untitled 42
2nd Mouse - High Jinx Dark (Humanoid Remix)
Yage - Despite (Light limited image)

New Mixlr show on Friday to promote it (a never-ending cycle of Mixlr shows), which will including an unreleased Apertures track by myself and Brian.

Facebook event for the Mixlr stream, 7:30PM on Friday.
The show will consist of a playthrough of the full Mind Maps album followed by a new hour long mix. Going by previous convention, the album will probably drop straight afterwards.

Got an advance copy today - no tracklist anywhere on the sleeve, surprisingly.

I like this mix a lot but it feels a bit unnecessary as a cd - just pick the very best tracks and make them into a proper album not a compilation of unrelated tracks without even crediting who's on it!

Needless to say the mix is full of answerphone messages...

In Solitude We Are Least Alone (Alt version from the NFT)
"Won't you leave a message for me?" Galaxial vocal
Alina Kalancea / Yage collaboration - dark, glitchy atmospherics
Crackly textures... water or fire? Really creepy voice sample "When the sun emerges from the darkness... your time will pass"
Melancholic synth pads with answerphone message, brief interlude
Forest Trails – Mokguxtlk
Piano, downtempo beats, gorgeous track, nice respite from the last few
Narrator from EBS5
Dan Pemberton & FSOL - Long Green Field. Beautiful piece for piano & machines.
Abstract ambient environment, percussion, sounds
Downtempo, slightly dubby track, blippy synth arps
Reworking of Mountain Goat, some similar sounds to Folorn, which I'm now wondering might be a remix itself... wonder if this is a forthcoming RSD release
Bleepy / plinky plonky track like a lot of recent stuff
New SickOnes remix, slightly dnbish
Short ambient track... acoustic guitar and chanting
Old analogue rhythm machine, twinkly synth arpeggios, very '70s, early electronic krautrock in the Cluster vein
FSOL - Rituals Slow track, staggered beats, choir-like synths, violin outro, very chunky, reminds me of 'Cow'
Rainforest field recordings, squelchy analogue synths, wonderful atmosphere
Apertures - Missing Skies
Piano, strings from Max, guitar... might even be a Max remix? This is stunning
Acoustic drones, plinky synths, crunchy Chiastic Slide-era Autechre-style beats, beautiful
Strings, reversed sounds, layers of sound, lush ambience
A Tiny Point of Light
Dark track that starts off in distorted, murky instrumental hip-hop territory and suddenly goes all dnb. Layers of atmospherics in the background
A Tiny Point of Light again
Brief synth arp environment
Sinister snaky flute loop with completely mad glitched-up beats on top
Quiet, melancholic synth loops with answerphone messages
Field recording... not much happening

Well there we go, almost entirely unreleased stuff again. The mood was mostly more melodic and melancholic than the darker and more aggressive tone of recent releases, hints of 'Environmental' in the mood but generally more emotive, definitely a subtle development from the sound of the past couple of years. The ambience and melodies are lusher, and on the darker tracks the beats were much rawer. Really, really nice mix, I'm hoping we get a release of it or, if nothing else, someone recorded because I think it's probably the best of all the Touched mixes so far.

And of course The CD is now available

i was hoping someone recorded that! - thanks for the D/L - it'll be fun to relive all those moments of B&G ignoring their phone calls.
Proceed with visual attack.

I’d imagine most of the Virgin budget went on tapes for the Earthbeat answerphone.

And yeah, thanks so much for the upload! Glad someone recorded this, it was such a great show.
