I think he must have gone through Brian's friend list and sent out random friend requests. I was quite blown away on Monday afternoon to get a friend request from Gaz Cobain. There may have been some giggling involved. Also, I'm not too proud to admit that I took a screen cap of the moment...

Can't wait! Gaz seems to be getting back into being part of FSOL more and more isn't he? And an admission of new material this time too, always confused me why E4 was largely billed as an archival release...

Annoyingly August already has the new HOLOVR album, and eventual vinyl releases of the new Eno/Hyde and Deaf Centers... and money is tight. Agh!

Maybe with "new material" gaz means new material in which he was more involved than that on Env3 & 4.
Anyway, an august release is not THAT far away, can we hope for getting teased with clips the next few days?

Environment 4 sounded to me at least quite a bit more like Gaz was actively involved with it. It sounded a lot more organic/amorphous. Also I thought the fact he was posting clips on his Youtube accounts as well Brian on his stakkerhumanoid account spoke of his increased involvement. Who knows.

Surely the Lifeforms 20th Anniversary is upon us as well. The internet tells me the anniversary is on 1st August if we're going on actual release date.

I think something should be revealed pretty soon, I haven't seen any new clips or videos from the band anywhere recently.

Yeah, Environments 4 is pretty heavy on the Amorphous sounds - as I think everyone commented at the time, it really did seem a good representation of where the pair of them were at the time.

Indeed, just like they did before the release of E4. That sure was great, but made the wait even harder

They made those gorgeous little youtube clips before the release of Env3 and archive7, when Env4 came out I only remember listening to 30 sec clips on juno.co.uk website. Were there official clips from Env4? Must have missed them out back then...
