Ah wow, that book looks pretty awesome. Just got a little bit of spare money and it's been spent already (whoops)

Four bonus tracks downloading now!

Cattle is a pretty heavy percussive piece. Viewed From Across the Room is really, really beautiful - gah, classical piano FSOL always gets me. I Turn to Face the Sun - slightly different edit to the Environments II bonus version, it seems; definitely stepping up to be one of their all-time greats, and a huge shame it's not on a "proper" release. Neurotic, as a word, was used in the Dead Cities 192 page book a couple of times, it's interesting to hear titles recurring again (as in Dark & Lonely Waters on E5); the track itself reminds me a little of the Yage album at times. That reminds me, I wonder what happened to the Pygmy People EP...

Well, even if we don't get the multi-path Environments Five single as rumoured, between this, the three-track bonus EP and the vinyl bonus tracks we've had a couple of single's worth of stuff. What a year!

Eek, I've just bought it too (also whoops).

Downloading the tracks now (I was just about to put Touched Two on, but now it might have to wait).

Btw, they could really do with making the text stand out from the background on that website, it's really hard to read bits of it.

Its been a great month and a great year for material from the lads.
First the syd arthur monstrous bubble reworkings which are fabulous and now not only the booklet but the 4 unreleased tracks too!!
Sat here listening to 'i turn to face the sun' with a massive smile on my face..wish this would go on for about 10 minutes...They really need to do an extended piece for this like they did with cascades and lifeforms e.p. you know say a 5 path ep?? Cannot understand how this never got released.Viewed from across the room is great too, very delicate and considered.
These and the syd arthur material are going to get some playing this weekend.Look forward to getting the booklet too.

I've just put the EP on and Cattle already sounds amazing! Got a kind of spooky, sci-fi thing going on, I love it :)

ross, when you mention 'I Turn to Face the Sun - slightly different edit to the Environments II bonus version'...How did you get hold of that..was it an extra ep from the digital download or vinyl version of Environments 2?

Yeah, it was a bonus track (download) with E2 vinyl. And there was a track called Komagi with E4.

Oh wow, wouldn't mind grabbing this! Are all the recent covers for the Environments series etc still by Buggy G.? Or have they hired someone else?

So these are new tracks on offer with this booklet? I saw the book and thought damn I need that (obviously). But wasn't sure (shame on me) from the track names if they were new or not!
