Given the lack of any credited samples on the Archives and Environments I reckon they're actually safer now they're not on a major label. When you're selling 1,000s instead of 100,000s it's easier to sneak stuff in.
I've actually spoken to Brian about samples / the lack of, and he's assured me they haven't given up forever.
I think you're correct.

I also listened to Environments 6 again today and I noticed that the sampling is there in the classic atmospheric FSOL sense. So I think I'm managing to wrap my head around this properly.

I've always wanted to know how people on this look like in real life.
I mean we talk here for years and you start to wonder.

I know I have about half-a-dozen of them on FB but they're all wonky characters and rarely post pictures of themselves. On top of that I tend to forget how their FB names (which aren't always their real names) connect to the aliases here on the board...

On the other hand, there is always that cool moment of mystery when you don't know the face but know the character pretty in-depth... I don't know, I still often wonder...

- I hope this is not the final version......

Looks like it's gone back to normal, no noticeable changes here.

Good, but now I'm beating myself I didn't made a print-screen.
It had grey stuff on the top, and big light-purple buttons on the products :)

New interface seems to be back. I quite like the fact you don't run the risk of accidentally adding an item to your cart just clicking to look at it. Makes it a little tidier. It's a bit odd that at least three items on the main page are actually unavailable though.

Well, the violet buttons are back, and it's all misaligned ...

I wonder why they don't group all the products like some are.
Synthi-A has needless placeholder as a product, twice.
I somewhat understand this when the product is new, but after a month or so should be grouped...

It could all do with a tidy up, layout, and the advertising banner has Environments Six listed three times which is a bit peculiar, especially as two adverts are different versions of the same thing. It looks way nicer as a mobile site than it did before though.

I think I prefer it. When you clicked on a part of the shop before (say, FSOL), all the entries were bunched up right on the left. This is much more evenly spaced.

Prefer it too, the only thing that the webdesigner-in-me feels angsty about is each release having the image, title and 'Add to cart' all in the same table cell leading to all sorts of different vertical alignment disasters:

The main sequence in 'Tunnel North 5' turns out to be, unsurprisingly, the same as the one in 'Tunnel Sequence' on The Cartel Vol. 2, just slowed down.

I really should write that 'sounds, samples and themes shared between tracks' article. It's just the amount of repeated sounds in recent tracks making it so bloody daunting!

I still struggle to remember which track the drum patterns from "I dream in viral blue" is taken from. It definitely reminds me of some other FSOL or AA track.
