Great track. I'm shocked it was recorded last year. It sounds more like a refurbished 90's track.

There's been a definite shift in sound towards a danceable IDMish feel recently, hasn't there? It's hard to tell FSOL and Humanoid tracks apart a lot of the time at the minute.

Fucking hell, this is brilliant. Totally bonkers fast IDM stuff with tempo changes and a weird violin-led outro and a brief answer machine sample at the end. The Calendars keep throwing out material that sounds totally unlike anything released under the FSOL banner before. It makes me so excited for Environment Seven, especially as every calendar album has been released since the previous Environment albums (which is going on for five years ago!).

Is anyone else having problems downloading the tracks via the link in the email? I think for all the 2021 tracks (plus a couple of times before), when I click the link a tab just opens and closes but nothing else happens. The only way I can get the tracks is to download the whole album that is available at the time from fsoldigital. Not the end of the world, but it's a bit annoying just to get one track from the zip file.

Yes, here also but...i think it's cause we are using Chrome: to download the zip from the mail, copy the link address and paste it in a new tab....will not need to wait for the full album from fsoldigital :)

This happens now in Chrome if you try to download something not hosted on a secure server (doesn't have https in the link - like this place, but that's only because I can't for the life of me work out to easily purchase and then use an SSL certificate without the forum exploding into a million pieces - I am conscious I'm still to do this someday though!).

If you right click on the link and then press 'Save Link As ...' it should then download (you might get a warning at the bottom saying something like 'couldn't download securely' but just click the 'keep' and you should be OK)

The May track, 'Fledgling Sun' is fantastic. It's got a Mango Tree vibe to it. Wonder if it's from the late 90's?

The voice reminds me of the vocal sample in Artificial Placement of Emotion, so I would imagine it's a new track. It's absolutely gorgeous anyway, one of the best Calendar tracks to date I think.
