Oh Canyon Dreams is absolutely lovely, one of my favourite post-Virgin albums of theirs.

Canyon Dreams is of course notable for its use in 'Eggshell' as well. It's the nearest thing to a soundtrack of theirs I've heard other than Sorcerer. I will eventually have to go back and listen to them... one day. I'm just about to hit Summer in Nagasaki and then it's onto the Boosters for me... and then I suppose the new album as and when it comes out. I believe there was an Edgar/Thorsten/Ulrich album ready to go in the spring, I'm guessing it'll be released as a memorial one now.

Tears For Fears - Shout
Songs From The Big Chair (1985)

Heard this on the radio at work yesterday, for the first time ever I think. Highly addictive! So there actually was good music out there before I was born ;-)

Songs From the Big Chair is one of my favourite records. Brilliant pop album, with a beautifully atmospheric closer.

I've been on a total Killing Joke binge for quite a while.. this rarely happens with a band I've seen live, quite the opposite. Perfect music for this current world situation.

I'm also getting into The Cramps but it goes down better in small doses.. that's one fucking cool band. Thanks for the Stevie Be Zet recommendation, sounding excellent, need to find time to listen to that fully. Some Syd Arthur, new Swervedriver (new album coming, whooo), Childhood (new-ish hipster band), Teebs (trip-hop, chillwave, whatever, pretty good).

But mostly Killing Joke, especially the Pandemoniumn 2005 remaster, song wise their best one hands down.
from the source flows the endless...

i gave canyon dreams a listen again a while back, really need to listen to it more. Yesterday it was Rubycon and Axiat, the latter being a none too shabby compilation of jerome froese tracks with td. I've never heard Destination Berlin, other than a track or two played live - which enough to scare me off buying it!

Beyond that, what did i have a listen to? Ah yes, +10 by Jodey Kendrick and 26 mixes for cash by Mr. A Twin

Tangerine Dream - Booster III
Haven't been able to find a reasonably priced copy of II yet, so moved on - got 3 and 4 in the post today. First disc was fairly solid, the second one considerably less so. The Winter in Hiroshima material in particular is really grating on me.

"20150130 BBC Four H..." This video is no longer available due to a copyright claim by Kobalt Productions GmbH.
What was it - guessing something that was on BBC 4 on the 30th Jan ?

Well, it's called Kraftwerk - Pop Art
- it's present on youtube in Deutch, Spanish, Polish, French... just not on English - all EN are blocked :P

they probably will be releasing it officially ...

I've been indulging in the more electronic end of the musical spectrum yesterday and today:

Squarepusher - Hard Normal Daddy
Orbital - Snivilisation (I'm surprised I only recognise some of this)

I was going to listen to LFO's Frequencies next but some ginger Cornish bloke is demanding of my attention again...
