THE FUTURE SOUND OF LONDON - LIFEFORMS/WE HAVE EXPLOSIVE

Notes:
Vocals by Elizabeth Fraser. Written by The Future Sound Of London and Elizabeth Fraser. Tablatronics by Talvin Singh.

'Radio Edit 1' is the same as 'Radio Edit', 'Radio Edit 2' is the same as 'Alternative Radio Edit'. These are edits of 'Path 4'.

'Path 3' features on Lifeforms simply as 'LIfeforms'. A longer version of the 'Radio Edit' appears on Teachings from the Electronic Brain: The Best of FSOL.

This EP marks a move away from the lush ambience of the album and onto the darker, more percussive sound that would be explored more heavily on ISDN. Bizarrely, the album version is completely different to the radio versions and shares nothing but the name. It crops up on the EP as 'Path 3', and 'Life Form Ends' appears in remixed form as 'Path 5'. Artwork, featuring Shaueen Ta, by Buggy G. Riphead.

Charts:
UK singles chart: number 14.
