What are you listening to?
Re: What are you listening to?
Underworld - Low Burn
Barbara Barbara, We Face A Shining Future (2016)
Received the LP today, just giving it a second spin. This has got to be my favorite track. Overall I think it's a pretty mediocre album, not bad but nothing great either.

I really like it on first play. Quite subtle but very beautiful. Low Burn and Nylon Strung are the definite stand-outs.
Also in the post this morning and thus on the player today:
t e l e p a t h テレパシー能力者 - あなたの愛 / 永遠の愛
Sandtimer - In Search of the Chessmaster
Diamondstein - The Ridges
Wonderfully dark heavy stuff on those last two, the telepath one as beautifully dreamy as ever.

Do you think we will ever get a Dubnobass... part 2 ? That would be great

µ-ZIQ - XTLP
I didn´t noticed when this came out last year. Seems to be a compilation of ep´s and bonus tracks released around "Chewed Corners", according to watmm forum. Some very nice tunes on there, this ranks among his best stuff from the 90ies imo, think I like this even better than the already good Chewed Corners LP. A choc full of lush synthies and sunny melodies, very strong 90ies classic idm feel, can´t stop listening!

School Of Seven Bells - SVIIB (6.5/10)
(2016) Shoegaze-y pop electronica. The guy from the band passed away some time ago so now it's a solo project. RIP. They've done better IMO.
Sound Of Ceres - Nostalgia For Infinity (7.5/10)
Sounds a bit like Air, Goldfrapp and Stereolab had a baby with some psych rock band. Pretty kewl but defo not a masterpiece.
Lords Of Acid - Expand Your Head (LOL/10)
Industrial kinky sex music, guaranteed to make you blush a bit. They're always fun
Right now, listening to the Head Kandi Winter Chill 2-compilation. I adore this series, not a big fan compilations usually. The artwork is awesome.
from the source flows the endless...

Oh man, Lords of Acid

Re: What are you listening to?
Didn't they used to have some kind of obviously made up thing going on about their fans going missing?

Seedy, thats Namlook & Charles Uzzell-Edwards
- one of those shady composers who won't come out anywhere without serious digging.
Uzzell-Edwards also worked with Dan Pemberton
