...we have only to wait for May and see lol... a triple CD of Lifeforms would be great for the 25th Anniversary.

Really really crossing my fingers for a super expanded version of Dead Cities too.... hope Brian said something more to Pande...

Last thing I heard was Universal were very keen to do more FSOL stuff. What that will be remains to be seen. It would be great to have 2CD / 3CD editions of Lifeforms, ISDN and Dead Cities (I'd imagine the 5CD Dead Cities was possibly a bit of a bold expectation) with alternate mixes etc. Whether this will actually happen though... who knows. I know there were some issues over ownership when it came to the videos which is why we didn't get a DVD when Teachings came out, maybe we can cross our fingers for that before the DVD / BR market disappears all together.

I can also confirm that there are talks about re-releasing / expanding the 90s stuff, but nothing concrete yet...

FSOL are all for it but in general I think they don't want to be bothered with more contracts and everything that goes with BIG publishers.
(they're are warm and comfy with their own model)

If the middlemen find common ground for this to go smoothly - they will happen - if not, well, Brian/Gaz are too busy focused on the FUTURE and the hundred projects they're involved in :)
You're doin' too much, do less.

And given that we're expecting a new Amorphous album, two longform Amorphous singles and hopefully Environment Seven this year, I doubt it's anywhere near the top of their lists.

I'm going to be (possibly) controversial here and say I think they got it right in the '90s - the home is the best place to listen to FSOL. Broadcasting to you in your most vulnerable place enables the music to have more of a direct impact.

This is probably why I generally don't like live music much anyway.

You're completely right of course: Definitely prefer home listening to live (ditto with cinema). I think it's more the idea of hearing a FSOL track so loudly in that environment with the sound all around you, it'd be wild ! (It might just be me missing being able to listen to stuff loudly on speakers (like in my teenage years) before I moved to the city and everything is now restricted to headphones only ...)
