Hey up Dell, glad to see you're still with us!

Soon has meant many things over the year, from a week to 18 months. The album and EP will both be this year, which is all the info I have.

My guess is, before August, due to them not wanting to overlap with RSD releases. I guess we'll find out eventually!

Cool another couple of FSOL releases will be with us 'soon'. Any mention of more Ramblings volumes? Another one must be due??

I'd imagine COVID related issues have delayed manufacture, as they were going one a year and the plan is still for ten to be released.

I'm really looking forward to this when it comes. Well up for another Ramblings volume as well but you know, we're already pretty spoilt as is!

Yeah, I keep thinking we've had such a quiet year, yet there's still been the Yage EP, two Humanoid EPs, the Calendar Album, and three Controlled Vista mixes of largely unreleased material, plus the two Record Store Day releases next month. That's more than a lot of bands release in five year period, let alone one.

Excellent! It still seems like yesterday I was eagerly awaiting Environment Five! It probably sticks in the memory as for me it is the best.

Seven is complete and they're currently coordinating release options. As with pretty much everything from the last five years, it's likely it won't be a completely conventional release, format-wise. More news in the new year.

Vinyl pressing is generally on a three-to-four month backlog at this point, so if they finalise it all in the next few weeks we could still get a spring release - allowing for a summer release of the Amorphous album.

Environment Seven Trilogy

Post by Ross »

Environment Seven will be a trilogy. The first volume is called Rituals, and will be out in the first quarter of 2022. Don't think it's a massive leap to imagine 'Rituals' from the June Touched mix will be on it.

Most intriguing thing about this is the fact that it has a sub-title, effectively making this the first standalone FSOL album with a proper title since Dead Cities.

wow 2022, six years since environment 6 came out. I suppose a trilogy makes sense after all that time. glad were getting a proper album for once, and one with a title too! hope this is better than the other recent stuff

Cool, thanks, at last some (good) news. Recent releases were all very good, if 'Rituals' is at least on par with them I'm fine with it.
