To be honest, with E3, I wish it didn't have the more upbeat tracks, it kinds spoils the mood of it. Although I do like those tracks individually. But yes, 2 and 4 seem the strongest to me as well.

Much the same as Dell, here. I listened to 2 so much for quite a few years that I don't put it on at all these days. So few albums can take that amount of playing without my mind becoming numb to them! Definitely the strongest, though. 4 is a close second, and is the one that gets the most plays from me these days.
1 is a great album, although as I prefer the more melodic / melancholic side of the band which isn't really present on it, it doesn't rank quite so high as the others for me. 3, as I think is common opinion, somehow came out as less than the sum of its parts. It has my favourite Environments tracks on it - Viewed From an Obscure Angle, Summer's Dream, Sunken Ships, Glitch in Cellular Memory, The Oldest Lady, End of the World... all absolutely astounding, beautiful pieces - but somehow it doesn't hold together at all as a record so I just rarely put it on.

This is so exciting! Just came back home from vacation and couldn't possibly have hoped for greater news than this :) New samples (for me) sound fantastic, and I can't wait to finally add a new FSOL release to my vinyl collection.

It feels a little like Riphead, but somehow I think it's not him...

I see the catalog numbers show it will be Jumpin' & Pumpin' physical release after all...

It's probably the most modest / humble looking FSOL cover (other than ISDN of course) - no obvious effects, small text, all rather basic. Works really well though.

Buggy was meant to be doing the artwork for this so I'd imagine it's one of his.

3 is my favourite, followed by 2, then 4, 1. Love them all.

Stoked this is coming out on vinyl! :)

Will be purchasing on FSOLdigital to directly support them.

Cheers Pandemonium. Long time FSOL fan since Papua New Guinea, Lifeforms the big impact, long time lurker here....now embarrassed to only join when a new album is announced! By now is the time.

Well, better late than never :)
- We know we have lots of lurkers here, if only they could come out and say HI, this would be a much better/busier Board :)

I'd have to go for 2, then 4, 3, 1... all pretty closely matched though.
It goes in reverse order for me: 4, 3, 2, 1. Which bodes well for this album.

^^ Awesome clip, love it! I noticed the date of September 8th on there too... but they're leaving it a bit late for pre-orders aren't they? I want to order it now! :)

Still two weeks to go, don't think that should make too much of a difference. It'll still arrive at the same time.

Awesome sounding track.
