Mushroom 11 Soundtrack by FSOL
Re: Mushroom 11 Soundtrack by FSOL
So thought that logo in the top left corner of the above screenshot said 'FSOL'

I heard a rumour about this game one year ago, and I thought it would have been impossible.OffLand wrote:Many of the Wipeout devs started a new company and are making a successor to Wipeout right now... Not sure they'll be getting big name artists for the Soundtrack this time but here's hoping.
I'm happy I was wrong...hoping that it comes out for PC.

It is definitely coming out for PC: http://store.steampowered.com/app/389670/gabo86 wrote:I heard a rumour about this game one year ago, and I thought it would have been impossible.

The game is slated for mobile this year on iOS and Android, does that mean we should expect the full soundtrack on iTunes and Google Play, maybe Amazon?
play this backwards and you'll hear evil messages

Re: Mushroom 11 Soundtrack by FSOL
Mushroom 11 got released today on iOS,
(finally, it took 'em only 5 years...)
with a HUGE Apple feature + Editor's Choice - which is awesome.
It's $4.99 - but worth every cent - it behaves spectacularly on iPhone.
FSOL is mentioned on a few places in the descriptions, but always in singular, like FSOL is some (1) person

That's Amazing!
- this game deserves most of the awards that exist
I did noticed that it has less than 5000 installs on Android - just shows how much of 'BiG' spenders Android users are
- whatta joke...

Re: Mushroom 11 Soundtrack by FSOL
What doesn't help is the Google autocomplete: If you enter 'Mushroom 11 a' (as in about to type 'Mushroom 11 android') it instantly suggests 'Mushroom 11 apk' with the top link being a pirated copy of the game. Alas the open nature of the Android platform is that piracy is pretty darn rife ...

Super bump ! Seems like this game has had a big update yesterday for those that have it - just noticed the update notification on my phone today:
Last updated 24 Jun 2024
Mushroom 11 is fully remastered for modern devices, with various improvements and support for more languages
Re: Mushroom 11 Soundtrack by FSOL
Still a wonderful game (even though I play it on PC so there is no update), with a wonderful soundtrack.
Quite too difficult at times, but wonderful.

Hi everyone,gabo86 wrote: Tue Nov 17, 2015 7:14 pm Hi everyone, I just finished to download the game and when I launched it Field Of Flowers, from From The Archives Vol. 1, started. I experienced actual chills because since I started to listen to FSOL (almost two years ago) I always thought that their music is perfect for a sci-fi movie or for a sci-fi videogame. And that's it. I don't know if I'm going to like the videogame (I'm not that into puzzle-platformer) but when the music started I felt like a circle had been closed. I met FSOL music with the (wonderful) Hybrid Remix of Papua New Guinea because it was included in Wipeout Fusion, one of my favourite games ever (I still play it nowadays and that piece of music it's wonderful), and now FSOL licensed their music for another videogame, this time more than one track. I felt overwhelmed by it, it's wonderful.
it has been almost 10 years (it will be in a few days) since I wrote this post, and I've just completed this game. It has been a long time, of course, and it happened as it happens when I get too frustrated: I begin playing, then I'm stuck and after some days of being stuck I gave up. Then, months or years later, I begin again, and then I got to where I got stuck, and then I manage to do it but then I'm stuck again further. I had tried the last time three years ago, then I got stuck and I gave up again (probably for the fourth or fifth time). And then, some week ago, I decided to try it again, and I manage to overcome the puzzle where I was stuck, and I got stuck again a little later and I was ready to give up but this time I resisted and then I completed the game. According to Steam, only 7,5% of players who bought the game managed to complete it. It's actually one of the most difficult I've ever played, and I really thank FSOL for providing the soundtrack, which is why I met this game. Brutal, but fascinating.
