He does like a good rant and is determined to detonate those bridges. I don't think him and "twatterson" as he calls Alex will be getting kissy kissy any time soon. As for his relationship with Universal, it appears somewhat toxic. I think he's in the process of extracting a load of cash out them to fund what he's doing now. Good on him.

kind of a cross between like thievery corp and brian eno?
^ Thanks for linking to that pitchfork article, I didn't know he contributed to that soundtrack. Not very impressive though. I'm quite a big fan of Massive Attack but haven't really been following the news related to the band's members.
np: Midival Punditz - Rebirth
Midival Times (2005)
Really digging the classical Indian + electronic fusion, or whatever this genre is called, lately.

Talk Talk - Laughing Stock
Looks to be heading into spring here in London, Talk Talk seem a fitting soundtrack.

Then 'Colour of Spring' would be even more suitable !
Strangely I always found Talk Talks later albums to have some rather autumnal moods.

Yes, indeed - I've listened to that, Spirit of Eden and Mark Hollis's solo album. I'd definitely agree on Laughing Stock being more autumnal actually.
and the new jon hopkins - late night tales is pretty damn fine
