I see fsoldigital has a minor makeover as of yesterday. They've changed the background image, from an urban spraypaint type thing to something altogether more rural and mossy. Following the back end changes some time ago, the only thing they've not now changed is the content...

Perhaps something new sometime soon is planned? The list of potentials is, as ever, endless.

I kept looking at it for the last few days thinking 'something's changed...', but couldn't remember what the background used to be like so didn't bother mentioning it.

Go on, then, as we've not had the list of forthcoming FSOLDigital releases on this version of the board yet...

any hopes to listen something from the list, this year Ross?

All I've been told is Environments 4 is coming soon. Otherwise, your guess is as good as mine!

since Environments 4 is coming out soon, thats fricking great news already! i dont have a clue, but i have a feeling there is going to be some new material on it

Phrases like "coming soon" have a long history with the band, especially in connection with albums called Environments.

Something new would be nice though. It'll arrive when we least expect it, be what we least expect and sound unlike what we're expecting. They are the musical equivalent of the Spanish Inquisition.

A triple album of crust-punk turning up at midnight tonight, then.

For the record, I was told 'coming soon' in February. And the new background is from the Archive 6 artwork, back of the booklet if I'm not mistaken (I might be, mine is about 250 miles away at the moment).

Actually, looking at the list Ross, you can probably add the Prime World Soundtrack and the new Seafar EP. Oh and the WSH Soundtrack, even though that would most likely be listed in the Pod Room along with the ISDN broadcasts...

thats so true, im still waiting for the ISDN Live In Athens DVD that was supposed to be "coming soon" too. I can't understand why its not coming out, i dont know if the reason is legal issues. FSOL have never been a band focusing to sellout, but who would not buy an original DVD of that life experience concert? id personally pay for it no matter how much it would cost, even if it was everywhere on torrents. even if i was left broke and not being able to pay my bills, i want this DVD.

If a Prime World soundtrack is coming then it shall be added to the list - no news yet. I have WSH filed under Pod Room.

DVD - I'd imagine there are definitely legal issues here regarding the fact they don't own the rights to the 90s catalogue, which is why the ISDN shows appeared in the Pod Room a considerable time after the mixes.

The fact that they're doing a million and one other things - the Noel Gallagher album, Prime World soundtrack, who knows what else (maybe that 5.1 album will turn up at some point) - means they probably haven't had chance to push too much forward. 2" Tape Reels has been coming soon for about three years now, best just to stay patient and see what comes out when.

While we're waiting, why not let's try and work out what the comments on this video are about.
