"Just arrived, fresh from the Amorphous Androgynous (aka Future Sound of London) is a, frankly mind-melting, 17 minute remix of ‘The Illectrik Hoax’, a track from the album, featuring Natural Self on vocals. This has been in the pipeline for a while and they initially started work on a version of ‘GIANT’ but changed direction and so a three part Monstrous Psychedelic Bubble remix of the Hoax has been born. To say that they’ve thrown everything into it is an understatement, after a manic version of the original they proceed to tear it apart and reassemble fragments of it in two new versions.

Not only that but 2econd Class Citizen has also created what can only be described as an ambient acoustic version of the same track, completely different but brilliant in its simplicity. As soon as I heard it I realised it was perfect for the planetarium shows next week and it will get its premiere there. As to when these will be available and on what formats, I’ll get back to you on that but we’re looking at sometime in April."

Edit: The DJ Food In The Mix session starts about 1:15 in....

It fades in at the 1hr 18min mark. Quite an enjoyable tune. Fairly sure it ends at 1hr 24ish, there's a sudden change about then. It much lighter than the original, very acidic and shimmery.

If you're using firefox as a browser there's an extension for downloading things from soundcloud. Doesn't work for all of them, but it does for this....

This looks like being a record store day thing - 21st April. Whether that means it's a vinyl only thing I'm not sure. Anyway, there's been a series of artwork teasers on DJ Food's site. I'll see if I can link them here.

Ugh, I hope not - Last year's was a right pain in the ass: I just wanted to pick up the Clark & Jonsi 12''s and I had to battle my way round about 5 jam packed stores in London full with a mixture of smelly big bearded hipsters and (what I imagine given the sudden appearance of stock on the auction sites) eBay whores.

Still looks like being a vinyl only release on "Make a packet on ebay" day. Crazy looking vinyl though. Looks like I'll not be getting this then...
