DJ Food vs The Amorphous Androgynous & 2CC
Re: DJ Food vs The Amorphous Androgynous & 2CC
Gaz mentioned a Monstrous Psychedelic Bubble Remix & Covers album for the future (he even hinted at the possibility of including the long-forgotten by very much missed Cosmic Jukebox remixes from 2001), so yes, possibly. Although I reckon this'll turn up on certain torrent sites in the meantime.
Re: DJ Food vs The Amorphous Androgynous & 2CC
I hope the above comes about.
Meanwhile in the land of DJ Food, he's posted more on this remix.

There's a CD promo version, which I suspect may be tricky to get hold of, though happily for me at least, it'll be made available as a download - on itunes according to the comments, and I'd image Beatport at a vastly inflated price (why does everything cost at least twice as much there?)

I didn't ask link for download
I just asked a link, to a web-shop or whatever
Don't worry Pete, by now I know the rules BTW I've never asked publicly a download link
So, any link for purchasing? Preorder?

Apologies man, sometimes I forget which site I'm moderating
So yeah, we're thinking it's one of those Record Day events where you'll have to go to a selected record shop and try and find a copy or otherwise hunt for a rip off priced version on eBay after the event. Record Day is a good idea if you're lucky enough (like myself) to live in a city but for a majority of the population it's a right pain in the arse, and thus leaves a somewhat sour taste in my mouth about the event.

Re: DJ Food vs The Amorphous Androgynous & 2CC
A couple of years ago this all resulted in the Paul Weller remix 12" turning up on eBay for £100 on the morning of Record Store Day. It's good for the shops, mostly shit for the fans. Nice to know it's getting a digital release at some point though, I might buy that (although hope there's a different site than the ones mentioned as I try not to fund Apple's monopoly of the music industry).
Re: DJ Food vs The Amorphous Androgynous & 2CC
To illustrate the point, two years on it's still going on fleabay for stoopid amounts:

Re: DJ Food vs The Amorphous Androgynous & 2CC
I always think of Brian as being mainly the man at the controls, the Electronic Brain/Brian so to speak. It seems to go a bit further than that here. Check this out:
Gaz Cobain - Additional Vocals
Brian Dougans - Additional Electric Guitar / Drums / Piano

"The Witches Coven". Is that what Gaz is calling his place?
