Just wondered if anyone had heard of some new fsol or related music incoming?

There aren't any dates set yet, but the sixth album in the Environments series and a new Amorphous Androgynous full-length are coming.

It's actually allowing me to catch up with their stuff finally - was getting snowed under a bit !

Don't forget the new Humanoid album

Really looking forward to that one, kinda miss the harsher electronic angle of their stuff (not that I don't love the stuff that has got put out there, just I love the clanking and the clonking!)

Everything you need to know about forthcoming releases is here. No dates yet. Supposedly Environments 6 in October but I'm suspecting it'll be November now.

Are we still hoping the AA will drop in 2016? I haven't seen Gaz update his FB travelogue for a while, making me think they are holed up in the studio doing post production, but if they are working on 3 full length albums (that we know of), one has gotta slip eventually, right? Two geniuses can only accomplish so much, LOL

That Amorphous album won't be out this year. Always add several months on to Gaz's predictions. My prediction is Environments 6 in November, Humanoid either December or January, and Amorphous in early summer.

Same, something outside the Environments series, like a cutting-edge new FSOL with some dirty vibe (Environments 4 had a BIT of that feeling but was still pretty mellow) and mad beats.

I've heard a few bits of the new Humanoid material,
and I have to say it's insanely awesome.

Somewhere in December he told me he recorded more than 100 pieces, and he'd go at it a little bit more, then the selection process was next

- There was also this awesome demo video called S.K.A.T.T.E.R. which reminded of 90s AFX and Squarepusher, but with even better production.

PS - there was also that track on the 'ChipSpeech Automate Songs .01' compilation called Words of The Elders.

could you not,if you have photoshop,defilter it..or do you need the original source to be able to do that...it does look very borg-esque

Most of the pictures he sends are somehow grained, because trained eyes probably can spot some secret techniques or something...
