FSOLDigital Calendar
Re: FSOLDigital Calendar
Interesting. I do really hope the calendar digital track come as a flac option as well as mp3, so I can maintain my flac based hypocracy of convincing myself I have (at 44 years old) the hearing to discern the difference...

I wouldn't worry too much, we don't have any WATMM subforum-esque threads at least.mcbpete wrote:

Apparently this has just been delivered to my house.

Re: FSOLDigital Calendar
Anyone know when the first FSOL Calendar track will be available for download?
I just looked on my FSOLdigital account but nothing obvious there yet. Meanwhile the calendar hangs on my kitchen wall

Re: FSOLDigital Calendar
Is that speculation or a hint via the horse's mouth? Any time during January would be good, I expect them to meander out at a different point each month, or am I not giving them organisational credit here?! "Coming soon" fills me with dread...

Hopefully not the same length as the 'Chapter 3' of the Ramblings story 'Coming Soon'dell1972 wrote:"Coming soon" fills me with dread...

Pete - you mean Chapter 4, surely?
Re: FSOLDigital Calendar
The first track is here! Only at 160kbps though, unless I'm missing something? It's a good one though

"Shorelines"
There was an email sent out today with a link to download. Hope it's available on a high-def format at some point. It's beautiful and worth the wait.
"Hello purchasers of the 2017 Calendar from FSOLdigital.
The first track from the monthly series is now available and can be downloaded HERE. The track is by The Future Sound Of London and is called "Shorelines".
We hope you enjoy.

Re: FSOLDigital Calendar
Yes, I got an email as well. To be fair, it sounded alright listening through my speakers last night, although maybe the low quality file will be more obvious if I listen on headphones. It would be nice if they could put them all out at 320kbps or even WAV/FLAC maybe.
Weird you didn't get the email, Ross, unless it snuck into your junk for some reason. Hope you've managed to get the track now.

Re: FSOLDigital Calendar
Got a new email now with the link for the 320kbps version Will download tonight when I get home. Seems slightly strange wording in the emails that they say the track : "Shorelines" by The Future Sound Of London
I presume all 12 tracks will be by FSOL so specifying that it's by them seems odd. Unless they were going to include tracks from some of their aliases as well?
