Unlikely, this one predates Environment Six!

Crumblebuns! I'd completely forgotten about FSOL Calendar albums. I also hadn't full appreciated how far through the year we are until I realised a 4th calendar track should drop any day and so far I haven't got/heard a single one of them!

They got really behind this last month and didn't even release track 3 until April 6th.

With Rituals dropping this week, almost forgot we still have April's calendar track to be revealed! :)

Hey ups,

Sorry it's a bit late.

April's calendar track is from a 2019 session with the dusty DX7.

I thought I was listening to Aphex Twin for a minute. Would not have guessed Blocsii is by FSOL.

Love this track. Crisp sound and even ominous

That was a fun 3 minutes and 23 seconds session to listen!

Not sure if it has been mentioned here before, but on the Calendar CDs/Downloads on bandcamp the tracks are mixed together!

I didn't know that, what a nice surprise :)

Oh awesome, nice spot! Seems they're just subtle crossfades, although the environment from the start of 'Petroleum' has been moved to the end of 'Artificial Placement of Emotion'. Looks like more stuff to add to the blog.

I immediately noticed the crossfades on bandcamp starting from the first calendar album of 2017... I thought everyone noticed it, judging by the timing of the tracks ;) By the way, in the track "Cellular Glitch" (Calendar 2019), I think FSOL made a mistake (error), at the beginning there is the track "Petroleum" (that is, Petroleum (2:52) is combined with Cellular Glitch (07:38)), I cut out from Cellular Glitch track Petroleum for my collection the FSOL (07:38 - 2:52 = 4:46). Calendar 2022 I think will also be mixed, in January 2023. Another moment, I recently listened to Calendar 2021 (mixed flac, bandcamp) and in some tracks the beginning of the tracks is slightly different, unlike the mp3 versions (from fsoldigital.com, mp3 as a demo-full versions) for example "Another Ending", "I Know", "Zen Jenny".

Yes, some (very) short environments/sounds are added to some of the crossfades. One example is String/Another ending crossfade which adds some new sounds.
Looks like you got a job to do Ross ! :D

had a listen to these band camp versions, the crossfades are helpful but sadly not adding up to anything like classic fsol, especially 2020-2021 albums.
