Re: A Space of Partial Illumination e7.002 out October 2022
I know, thinking back to the earlier FSOLDigital era, we'd usually get one Environment and one Archive every two years, with maybe a couple of side-project downloads in the interim. An extra few months wait for the second main album of the year (not to mention Mind Maps 3, sT8818r and the Calendar A...

Ha, just came to post this. Yeah, Brian informs me it's out in October, FSOLDigital/Bandcamp will have copies a couple of weeks before everywhere else. No idea where the July date has come from!

Re: A Space of Partial Illumination e7.002 out July 2022
A few shops now listing this as 29th July. No CD listed anywhere yet. Vinyl delays being what they are I don’t think we’ll be getting this next week.

Re: A Space of Partial Illumination e7.002 out July 2022
Rituals is designed by Steve Thomas who works at Digitana. There's definitely an AI style to it, it's hard to make out exactly what it is though. Almost fractal-ish. Not sure about this one.
And yes, 7.001 followed by 7.02 is something only FSOL would do.

Re: A Space of Partial Illumination e7.002 out July 2022
Amazingly, Juno have e7.002 (or Environments 7.02, as it seems to be called) - 'A Space of Partial Illumination' - listed for pre-order, release date 22nd July. Wasn't expecting this until at least September. Amazon states the tracklist is: 1 A Space of Partial Illumination 2 If That Were To Occur 3...

Re: brian's birthdate
I wonder where the '68 one came from. It doesn't even make any sense, as he was already teaching part time at Salford College when Stakker Humanoid came out, which means he would have to be at least 21/22 at that point.

Re: Mind Maps 3
Spoken sample before my Enofa track is Byron Con, he of the 'weird Greek instrument' on 'Yage'. Turns out his son is Dappy of NDubz fame. This track is about Bryon's death.

FSOL remix Dan Pemberton
Here's a new one: a single from Daniel Pemberton's new film score Brian and Charles, 'Wales, Land of Wonder' is out today. The b-side is 'The Workshop of Invention (The Future Sound of London Remix)'. Appears to be streaming-only, I think, but the full album is out next week as a digital download.
