A classic. Anyone who likes Slowdive or later Talk Talk and hasn't heard this should track it down.
I have one Bark Psychosis album, but it isn't that one.

Re: FSOL Rarities

Yeah, I would want them on CD. Shame I only bought the original versions a few months ago and I've only even listened to the first Archive album yet!

Re: FSOL Rarities

What are the enhanced editions of the first three Archives?

I read somewhere that they were going to re-release them with the tracks joined together, but I didn't think this had happened yet?

Re: FSOL Rarities

Just been checking out the FSOL remixes from the 90s, thanks to Pandemonium's reviews :) Some of those early 90s ones are pretty dodgy, although I'm sure that's mainly because of the original material ;) A few good ones though, especially from the mid-90s :) The Deseo Reconstruction sounds just like...

Re: FSOLdigital

Either way, the Sand Sound Folly EP is wonderful work :) And yeah, I think a sense of mystery is cool, although it can get a bit confusing :)

Re: FSOL Rarities

Just listened to the 2011 "rebuild" of We Have Explosive - that's amazing. Different enough from the original (and other versions) but still retaining some of the classic sound - love it!

Oh ok, so it isn't a free to sign up and download thing then. I'm listening to Nu Psychedelia now, it sounds pretty cool :)

Re: FSOL Rarities

By the way, what is the deal with the extrememusic.com stuff? Is it FSOL? Are they free downloads if you sign up to the site? I noticed the Nu Psychedia EP the other day but wasn't exactly sure what it was.

Re: FSOL Rarities

Thanks, that's absolutely amazing, sir!

I will be reading up a lot on here, I got a lot of catching up to do! :)

Does a shorter/partial version of Five Six Five appear under a different name then?

Re: FSOLdigital

True, it isn't credited as being FSOL. In fact, it isn't credited at all, other than the band name it's under. Just going off the sound of it though, I'd be really surprised if at least one of the FSOL guys wasn't involved...

Re: FSOL Rarities

Cool, thanks for that, Pandemonium - gonna take me a while to look through all that, but on a quick scan I did notice a track from the 90s that I hadn't heard before called Landmass - just listened on YouTube, sounds good! I will look through those properly when I have time, but in the meantime, are...

Re: FSOLdigital

I bought the Sand Sound Folly EP last night. Listened about four times - love it. Has a great organic, tribal feel to it, but with some typical FSOL touches.

The Black Hill Transmitter EP sounds interesting as well, might buy that soon.

FSOL Rarities

Hi guys, New here :) Sorry if this has been covered before, but I did search and couldn't find anything :ugeek: I'm a pretty new FSOL fan, but currently trying to get hold of anything and everything they've done. I have all the albums from the 90s (including both versions of ISDN) and all the Enviro...
