good picks ross
have to say you've done a great job putting together an album from the four calendars
wish it had 303 hf5 though.... might be my favourite from all the calendars to date

I think that one might have been on my original suggestion actually - as I say, mine was basically a first draft that underwent changes after passing over to the band.

Near Field is my favourite calendar track to date, so I am glad to see it there. I listened to the Music from Calendars album reconstructed as a playlist from my calendar tracks and it works really well, and yes it is quite dark and brooding!
Music for Three Books is gloriously mellow. Love it.
I also love the Black Hill Transmitter track (17th) from the calendar material. Its not FSOL, but neither is the Humanoid track. Any insight into any more Black Hill Transmitter stuff likely to be released?

I wish I knew. There's nothing on the long-term radar that I know of, but even despite having some behind-the-scenes knowledge, last week's Humanoid EP took me totally by surprise, so I couldn't say anything with any confidence. I'm definitely up for more BHT though, it's my favourite FSOLDigital side-project.

I’ll be getting the vinyl, so you could end up on my wall (when it’s not spinning of course)!!

Thanks everyone Definitely an honour to be involved - when I started my first FSOL site, listing every known ISDN transmission, I would never have believed you if you'd told me I'd be credited on a FSOL album and finishing up a collaborative record with Brian 20 years later.

Yeah that is fantastic stuff. I can't even imaging getting the chance to collaborate with one of my musical heroes. So amazing!

I wonder if they will eventually consider releasing Three Books on LP?
A 3 sided LP with an etching on side 4 would work great if they wanted to put out everything and maintain the original Vol 1, 2, and 3 presentations, 1 per side. (That would also allow them to have "normal" side lengths of more or less 18-21 mins). Or perhaps side 4 could have bonus material?
