Yeah, thought about get my hands on that. But I have already the 3 Snappermusic double CD's, does anybody know if the remaster of that boxset rerelease is much superior sound-wise compared to the old CD's?

listening to the first orbital

bit cheesy old sounding at times just as i find the earliest fsol to be

rounding out nicely though

this "midnight" tune - was this sampled by fsol or perhaps on one of the radio mixes/bubbles etc?

Wouldn't say it's cheesy as such, definitely of its time. I love early 90s electronic stuff - took me a while to properly get the first Orbital album, but these days it's one of my favourites.
Dunno about Midnight on FSOL though...

Orbital - Are We Here EP

I like the versions of the track on here far more than the actual album track. Esp. the "What was that?"- version is pretty ace.
