And after a billion years, finally the last video of 1994!
And a sneak peek at what's lined up between now and the series finale in January

Have you checked out these two amazing compilations Enofa, both covering 90s Ambient House/Techno:
Despite thinking I knew the genre pretty well, literally the only two tracks I (sort-of) know are the Pelusha and Richard H Kirk ones (the former from hearing Part 1 and the latter because it sounds just like other Richard H Kirk releases from that era!)
You can practically smell the dusty rooms in the second hand record shop that these would've come from !

Is it the final episode? Could it be?
Well, no, as the screenshot a few posts above shows, next week I've got a 1997-present video. But for all intents and purposes, this is the end of the main series covering artist and labels, album-by-album.

lovedd all of these, a great series about a golden age when experimentalism was rife without sinking into a hole of obtuseness and the music industry still supported original and creative music. ive slowly been checking out the stuff you mentioned in the last video and theres a lot of good stuff there altho im seeing lots of artists doing that modern thing of releasing way too much music, i enjoyed a mick chillage album you recommended but he seems to have released about 50 albums in the last five years. what is it with quantity over quality these days? is that the only way people can make money these days?

It's what happens when artists are freed from the restraints of label limitations. Those on the DIY end of things have often been like that - look at Conrad Schnitzler's discography! New age, noise, jazz, most styles outside of the norms of 'pop' (in its very broadest definition) have rarely stuck to the album-every-18-months convention.
Although I'll admit some people do put out way too much.
