Contest is over. I Turn To Face The Sun is based upon the MIDI files for Glass.

Ok, Gaz' hint with the "idiot" was obvious. Never would have heard the "Glass"-origins of "Face the Sun" by listening, my suggestion would have rather been also something like "Room 208" or "Among Myselves" cause of the melodic synth lines. But it was fun, Gaz could do this every week!

No wonder it's so beautiful. Two of my favourite FSOL tracks there.
I can just about hear it now I'm listening to it, although it's a pretty radical reworking.

I can barely tell they are at all related. Love both tracks though!

It's the opening plucked string sound that seems to contain most of the same notes as the main loop in Glass.

The whole Environments-series is basically built around ambient-reiinterpretations of "muelleck well" & "skinny ribbed fucker", a brilliant concept considering the fact that this is almost impossible to hear for a human being.

A Somnambulant Drift playing in Gaz's car as he drives. Sounding incredible and totally unlike any FSOL track I can think of.

Actually to me it sounds like if Slider and My Kingdom part 3 had an edgy baby. Love it.

Any chance that the CD will be sold on its own at some point? With the extra shipping cost and conversion rates, this book is a little too pricey for me right now

What is the book like? Is photos and a few captions, or does it have like real text content?
Im interested in a book, not so much photos.

Nobody has owned up to having received a copy yet, not here anyway. I'm assuming nobody has it yet. Should be "coming soon" so to speak, assuming they did actually post them yesterday.
