Just looked at an email from Touched and it's stated Mind Maps 6 will be launched/streamed/released on August 22nd.

Looking forward especially to the pre-show if we're getting another one (the final piece ?) of these wonderful things, the below quote from Enofa from the previous Trip Maps set:

30 minute warmup: Rapid Eye Movements. This is the third of four '30 Minute Dreamscapes' (we've had two already on previous shows). Might be a release one day.

Mixlr is very, very slow and awkward, chat messages started by taking 30 seconds to arrive, by the start of the main mix they were running almost ten minutes late.

30 minute warmup. This one feels a lot more structured and detailed than the earlier ones, lots of drones, loads of sounds coming and going, voicemail from Martin, huge loud clangs, some 1994 war on drugs environment elements, big epic synth sequences, piano, sax melodies. This might be my favourite FSOL thing in years.

Keiss – Idler (Yage Remix). Slow piece, staggered, slightly trip-hop-ish drums with odd samples all over the top and some quiet, sad synths.
Inkipak – Open Door (Yage Remix) New version of an early Mind Maps track. Much lusher, lots of choral pads and new arpeggios, prefer it to the earlier one.
Voicemail from "Rob Manley Man".
Meat Beat Manifesto – Deformer (Yage Remix) DnB! Very Humanoid, crazy acidic IDM.
Voicemail from Nick from XL.
Robert Leiner – Days Like Others (Yage Remix). Melodic mid-tempo IDM piece, dub techno sounds in places.
Bit of a noisy environment.
Uf0 – Melody 22 (Yage Remix). Complex beats, big jangling melodies, deep bass, gorgeous.
Papua 'gulls' sound
"Unless you call back rather quickly, it's all over really," voicemail.
Some '90s sounds followed by Karsten Pflum – Borg Acid (Humanoid Remix), quite jarring.
Soutien Gorge – Rather Lazy (Yage Remix), Mind Maps 3.
Ai/mB – Bella Luna Acid (Yage Remix). 303-led melodic IDM.
Voicemail with effects all over it.
Sundial Aeon – Cold Matter Kingdom (Yage Remix). Chunky hip-hop beats, spooky flute, dark synths. Strong ISDN vibes here.
Drøn – Graviton (Yage Remix). Another new version of an early MM remix. God I can't remember all these tracks. Again it's a nice lush update.
Acreationator – I Musnt Rush (Yage Remix)
Riz Maslen – The Lake of the Woods (Yage Remix). Ambient section, collagey. Liz Fraser voicemail!
The Future Sound of London – Home Glow. Skittering beats, female vocals, stunner.
Yunx – 0115 140524 (Yage Remix), plinky piano, staccato synths, Glass-like beats, sax skronk. Very choppy, pretty cool.
Biophonix – Disentangled Fragments (Yage Remix). Minimal dub techno-ish track.
Galaktlan – Commando (Yage Remix). Stuttery quiet kick drum, analogue synths, chorussy bass guitar.
Heogen – Autumn Twilight (Yage Remix). 6/8 drums make this stand out.
Humanoid – See 3. Acid
??? Rich melodic IDM.
??? Fast acid with glitchy beats. Getting Aphex vibes from this one.
Vit Drowning re-recording! Bigger sounding beats.

Overall, with more in the way of crisp IDM beats and playful melodies, and the reappearance of the answerphone messages, it feels closer to MM1-3 than the more ambient techno approach of the last couple. We'll see how it matches up to the album itself.

I've got a recording too, uploading to WeTransfer now and will post the link in about 15min.

Strangely mine clocked in at 01:59:14 while adreamingandroid's is at 01:59:30. I did spot a couple small gaps in android's file (00:33:02 and 1:28:37) but not nearly enough to account for a 15s discrepancy. comparing the two waveforms it's as if mine just runs ever so slightly faster and they fall further out of sync as the files progress. no idea how such a thing happens with a digital recording from a digital source!

Note, my file also came in louder, but I don't think there's any actual clipping.

Glad I got to tune in for this mix.
Loved the ambient intro piece. I agree with Imogen. It was really good. A lot of variation and melody in there.
