Drexciya - Journey of The Deep Sea Dweller - compilation series... 2011-2013

Drexciya were the only real children of Krafwerk IMO...
It sometimes makes me sad this kind of techno has almost died out...

Anyone else notice the full album length actually isn't 76 minutes and 14 seconds? My cd player says the version I got is 76 minutes and 17 seconds :-)

Think that might be the 2 second pre-gap on the first track. Though there is about a half second discrepancy on 7:39 and 0:54 meaning it should technically be 76:15

Those Chapterhouse remixes are awesome.. that EP contains two of the best ones (out of five) IMO. Can't even touch FSOL 'tho, kinda different stuff too ;)

Plastikman - EX
- finally, after 11 years, a proper Plastikman album (some say it doesn't count because it's a live album, but that's not the case, this was post-produced from the live version)

- and it sounds awesome and tight too - I really like this minimal (but rich as fuck) sound.

Had my first couple of listens to Tales of Ephidrina over the last couple of days. Great album - I expected it to sound dated, but it doesn't (well, maybe a few tell-tale noises here and there, but not much).

BTW, to any interested (aka myself), remember I was looking to see if Yggdrasil had done a follow-up album to Prose Edda. Well, they have and it came out over a year ago! It escaped me as I didn't realise they'd changed their name to Kurbeats.

ah yes...."folktronica"

i suppose i also mentioned at the time they had an earlier single Yggdrasil - Dont Feed The Toadstools-Ryggsill
they also have a remixed track on Ethneomystica Vol. 1

i'm sorry i didn't mention kurbeats last time - i guess i forgot to check our trusty discogs :)
