The guy in the BlackHill video on YouTube is Bill Dougans (Brian's dad). Recording from 1956 - setting up (in sight mast) - part of when he worked at BlackHill.
BlackHill was/is a TV/radio (and now HD) transmission mast for the south of Scotland - Bill, amongst a few other, was tasked with setting it up and getting it working.
Bill Dougans died in 2013 (aged 84), when the Blackhill Transmitter series started, so in a way BlackHill is a homage to him.
BlackHill also uses recordings made by Bill.
The drums on BlackHill are live - played by Brian Dougans in his basement - so it turns out he's a pretty good drummer too, knowing a thing or two about the jazzy side - especially on that last track
